Glacier National Park Packing Checklist

Clothing:

□ Hiking boots (waterproof, broken-in)
□ Hiking socks (moisture-wicking, wool)
□ Base layers (merino wool or synthetic)
□ Fleece jacket or sweater (for warmth)
□ Waterproof jacket (for rain protection)
□ Quick-dry pants/shorts
□ Long-sleeve shirt (for sun/bug protection)
□ Hat (sun protection or warmth)
□ Gloves (especially in cooler months)
□ Buff or scarf (for wind or sun)
□ Swimsuit (for lakes or hot springs) – don’t forget this item on your Glacier National Park packing checklist!

Gear:

□ Daypack (for hikes)
□ Water bladder or bottles (at least 2 liters capacity)
□ Trail map or GPS device
□ Sunscreen (high SPF, water-resistant)
