For the best experience, plan your visit VERY EARLY in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid the crowds and catch the best light. The Logan Pass parking lot typically fills before 7:00 a.m.

DRIVE SAFELY. The Going-to-the-Sun Road is a narrow, winding route with steep drop-offs. Take your time, drive cautiously, and be aware of other drivers and wildlife. There are several pullouts where you can stop safely to take in the views and snap photos.

PREPARE FOR WEATHER CHANGES. Glacier National Park’s weather can be unpredictable, even in summer. Bring layers, including a warm jacket and rain gear, to ensure you’re comfortable no matter what the weather throws at you.
